It’s a busy time of the year for me, not only is it the build up to Porridge season! It’s also fruit harvesting time.
This weekend I was picking a bumper crop of Qunices, Egremont Russet and cooking apples.
It takes time to selectively pick (some of the quinces need just a bit more sun) pack and store. I’m not complaining though as it’s time well spent to protect the harvest for the coming months and a winter of delicious Porridge recipes!
